We went out to dinner tonight. No cooking, kids looked after by respite worker, yummy meal, nice company, 10-15mins from home etc etc. Strongly recommend it – if you really want to be out on chrismas eve, not help the kids set up cookies etc for santa, miss putting them to bed with all the anticipation in their eyes………….next year we’ll go out on 23rd!!!! I’m so happy that it all arrived on time, but bummer about the “kit”. Bastards.

I assembled a doll’s house last night – at least it came with instructions and all the holes and lugs lined up. Have to say it was nearly easier than getting the frigging Bratz dolls out of the packaging. 15 minutes each – I kid you not
