We've had our share of strange neighbors too. I remember one old lady that scared me to death when I was a kid, I swear I thought she was a witch because she used to give us nasty looks all the time. Then one day she asked my mom if I could come visit, and she gave me a book. It turned out she was just a lonely old woman, who didn't really know how to relate to kids. That was too funny.
